Privacy Policy

This covers what Research with Ron (operated by AEOstack) collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect the URL you want audited and your email, we process payments through Stripe, and the report we generate is public.

What we collect

• —The URL you submit — the site we audit.
• —Your email — to send you the report and any refund correspondence. No newsletter, no upsells.
• —Payment metadata — Stripe handles your card. We receive a payment confirmation and your billing email; we never see or store card numbers.
• —Usage analytics — anonymous-ish product analytics (pages viewed, scans started) via PostHog, so we can improve the product.

How your data is processed

To produce a report, parts of your submission flow through third-party services:

• —OpenRouter and the underlying model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) — your audited URL and category appear in the prompts we send to generate the report.
• —Resend — delivers transactional email (your “report ready” notification).
• —Stripe — payment processing.
• —Google Cloud — hosting and database.
• —PostHog — product analytics.

Each of these has its own privacy policy. We send them only what's needed to do their job.

Reports are public

The report generated for a domain lives at a public, shareable URL. It does not display your email. If you don't want a report to be public, don't run one — or request deletion.

Retention & deletion

We keep report data so the public report URL keeps working and so you can see audit history over time. You can request deletion of any report or your email at any time by emailing ron@researchwithron.com. We'll remove it promptly.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies/local storage for basic functionality and analytics. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, email ron@researchwithron.com and we'll sort it out.
